We at Happie Help have spent many sleepless nights trying to give you the easiest possible experience while on our platform. That being said, we know technology can sometimes make you want to pull your hair out. To help, we've answered some of the most common questions you might have.

• How do I sign up?
From the Home screen, expand the menu wheel at the bottom left. Tap the 'Settings' icon located in menu. Next, tap the "Create or Sign In".
Fill out the profile settings and click 'Sign Up' and Ta-Da! You're all set!
• How do I create a new post smile?
Tap the new post icon located at the bottom right corner. Type your 'smile' for you post.
Once you finish typing, tap the "Next" button. This takes you step 2 to pick your location. Tap the 'location' icon up right.
Type in the search window the location you're looking for. Select the desired location and then tap "Next" to proceed to the last step.
If you want to add photos to your post, tap the 'Camera' icon and then follow prompts to upload photos.
Once your photos attach to the post, you're ready to send it out into the Happie Help universe!
• What if I forget my password?
From the home screen, tap the bottom left wheel to expand to the menu options. Tap the center "Settings" wheel. From the "Settings" menu, tap the "Create or Sign In" option.
Tap the "Forgot your password?" option at the bottom. Type your email associated with your Happie Help account to receive your password.
• What if I want to change my password?
From the home screen, tap the bottom left wheel to expand to the menu options. Tap your avatar. When on your own feed, tap your avatar again.
On the profile stats page, Tap "Edit Profile", scroll to the bottom and change your password. Tap "Save changes" to save your new password.
• How do I change my email?
From the home screen, expand the menu wheel and tap your avatar. Next, tap your profile avatar. When on your own profile, tap your avatar again.
On the profile stats page, tap the "Edit Profile" option. Update your email address and tap "Save changes".
• How do I search for a specific thing like, for example, a coffee shop?
Tap search icon located top left to expand. Type what you're searching for. This includes specific Users, Places or Things.
Let us take over from there! We will search the Happie Help Universe and find the closest options to you. If a location has the Happie Help icon, it has smiles posted from other users.
• How do I change my avatar?
Click your already-amazing current avatar. Tap "Edit profile".
Tap your avatar to access the photo edit options.
Select the category you want to upload your profile from. Adjust the crop to your liking and then save. That's it!
• How do I change my feed banner image?
Tap your amazing avatar. Tap the "Edit profile".
Tap your avatar to access the photo edit options.
Select the category you want to upload your banner from. Adjust the crop to your liking and then save. Easy Peasy!
• How do I edit or delete a posted smile?
To Delete or edit a smile, tap the [...] top right of the post and the follow the prompt accordingly! It's that simple!
• How do I save a smile posted by another user?
To save another user's smile, tap the star icon left of the post. Once the star turns gold, the post has been saved.
• How do I like another user's posted smile?
To like another user's smile, tap the heart icon located left of the post. Once the heart turns red, the post has been liked.
• How do I report an inappropriate or negative posted smile?
Sometimes statements can throw us for a curve ball. That's one awesome thing about the human race...we're still smarter than computers! If you encounter a post that slipped through, tap the [...] button on the post. From there tap "Flag as Inappropriate" and then we will take care of it from there.
• How do I follow another user on Happie Help?
To follow another user, tap the "Add" icon next to the avatar. After following a user, you can un-follow by tapping the same icon and follow the prompts.
• Can I find directions on Happie Help?
While visiting a location's page, click [...] at the top right to find navigation to the location, call the location, or visit the location's website (if available).
• Why is there only positive suggestions or recommendations?
Let's face it - there's enough negativity in the world these days. There's also a plethora of other platforms available for users to be able to express their gripes or frustrations on.
Our main goal at Happie Help is for users to have a space where they can post positive experiences and recommendations that make them smile. How many times have you gone to look up a specific place and have to shuffle through lots of posts that don't actually help you, but are mainly personal complaints that aren't beneficial? That's why we did away with the negativity, so you don't have to worry about it!
• How do I report a bug or glitch while using Happie Help?
Technology isn't perfect and neither are we, so if you happen to encounter a bug or glitch while using Happie Help, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will always appreciate it! You can contact us here.
• Why can I only see who another user follows?
Happie Help encourages users to make social connections with other like-minded users based on similar interests, not because someone else is following them. Think of it as social paying-it-forward.
If a user follows you and you discover similar interests with that user, you'll follow them back and then they'll appear in your "Following" tab. Now other users know you have similar interests with that user and maybe they should follow them too.
Let's face it...we all have 'those family and friends' we connect with on social platforms because we're just being nice but really don't have anything in common with them...and SURELY don't want others to follow them either! So we've taken it out of the equation. You can thank us later!
I can't find a location on Happie Help. What do I do?
Happie Help partners with Google and their business database. If you happen be at a location and it doesn't return in search results, please let us know and we'll look into it for you! Click here and send us the necessary info! We appreciate your help!
• How do I cancel my account?
If you want to delete your account, we are sorry to see you go, but rest assured we're not other platforms. When you delete your account all your data is gone. Period.
To delete your account, tap you profile avatar. Again, tap your avatar.
Tap "Settings", then tap "Delete Account".
Confirm you want to delete your account, and then it's Hasta la vista, baby! But leave knowing you're ALWAYS welcome back to our Happie place!
